PDX Taxiway E North Rehabilitation
The work includes but is not limited to:
Reconstructing portions of Taxiway E with portland cement concrete pavement (PCCP), from the hold bar at Runway 10R/28L to the southern taxiway object-free area of Taxiway K; replacing existing 15-foot-wide asphalt shoulders with 30-foot-wide shoulders to conform to FAA standards; replacing the drainage infrastructure and providing underdrains within the project boundary; grading the surrounding infield areas to conform to FAA standards; installing LED centerline and edge lights and two runway hold bars; and installing airfield guidance signs.
"K&E’s product was installed exactly to the plans and specifications and their flexibility in executing the overall project schedule was outstanding. This project required significant coordination with the electrical and H-pile installation contractors, K&E’s support in this area contributed heavily to the success of the project."
